Will Magid is a San Francisco based multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter, who currently splits his time between San Francisco and Los Angeles, CA. With a deep interest in music from all parts of the world, he regularly collaborates with the legendary Baba’ Ken Okulolo and Fela Kuti’s long time lead guitarist Soji Odukogbe. He also plays trumpet in the band of the “King of Soul” Solomon Burke. While Will has performed on four continents, he is quite interested in local music scenes. In 2009 Will’s project “The Pangea Collective” put out a four song E.P entitled “Baba”. It’s produced by John Avila (Oingo Boingo, Reel Big Fish, Battle Star Galactica). Sample it on iTunes. He is now currently working on two separate EP’s – one with DJ Pleasuremaker (Afrolicious) and another with the Indie-Electro outfit Happy Rabbit.
